Active Living For All

Do you miss taking part in sport?

We have put together a series of free sessions aimed at older adults to help you to get back into exercise or sport.

These take place at the Park Leisure Centre on Wednesdays.

The sessions begin at 10.30am and they are in two parts.

10.30 - 11.15am  Youth Gym

'Youth gym' may sound a bit scary but we have sole use of it for the session.  The equipment is extremely accessible and you can do as much or as little as you want.  It even has equipment that you can use in a wheelchair.  We will show you how it all works.

11.15 - 12 noon  Main hall

We try different sports each week.  So far we have tried badminton, short tennis, table tennis, walking netball and walking football.

You can come to one or both sessions.  And we are happy to talk to you about adding other sports.

If you want any more info, email Barrow AFC Community Sports or ring Ashleigh on 666011.
